Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our client’s dynamic engineering team close to London, ON
.

Pay - $100K - $130K

• Lead electrical engineering design for new and existing construction projects (HVAC coordination, lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, life safety, etc.).
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction compliance with design specifications.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
• Review and seal engineering deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet project objectives.
• Prepare cost estimates, project timelines, and feasibility studies.
• Assist in bid evaluations, vendor selections, and contract reviews.
• Ensure designs meet sustainability and energy efficiency goals, where applicable.
• Stay current with local and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, CSA) and safety regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng or PE) in good standing.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering within the construction or consulting industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, SKM Power Tools).
• Strong knowledge of applicable building and electrical codes and standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
