Our work matters to millions. It'll matter to you too. Join our Power Transmission and Distribution team as a Site Based Senior Project Manager on the EHV Cabling Operational Team based in the Elgin area and you'll be a big part of fascinating, complex, varied and meaningful work.

• Plan, manage and deliver the Project /Projects you are aligned to.
• Deliver the Power T&D business strategy and objectives on your tenders and outperform on key success measures
• Manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets
• Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project/tender.

• Project delivery experience to make sure we meet high quality and safety standards
• Experience in Power/ Utilities within large infrastructure projects
• Strong communication skills to manage, mentor and empower your team
• The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders
• Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects in budget
• To understand standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.

• Experience of Management and Delivery of Overhead Line, Cabling or Substation schemes up to 400kV preferable.
• Strong People Management
• Proven track record in tendering and managing complex projects, including sub-contractors
• Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and Financial control
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems
• Comfortable with ambiguity, able to tease out sensitive issues and lead cross-functional teams towards solutions
• Experience of supporting delivery of HV Cabling schemes up to 400kV preferable
