• 35 engineers across Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health specialisms.
• Team split across Brighton, Southampton, Heathrow, Basingstoke and Guildford; flexibility to work at any site.
• Projects include Gatwick and Heathrow Airports, Royal Berkshire Hospital and other public and private sector sites.
• Reporting to the Director for Electrical Engineering.
• Supported by graduate, assistant, senior and principal engineers, BIM and Sustainability specialists.

• Requirement of a Technical Director - Electrical grade with proven track record delivering projects.
• Joint leadership within MEP team providing design and technical advice as a WSP project manager on various projects.
• Supervise completion of detailed designs and work of others.
• Lead overall feasibility study and production of detailed/performance specification.
• Act as client’s key point of contact, responsible for overall project delivery and internal KPI’s.
• Work under clear direction of client and interpret needs in whole to meet delivery requirements.

• Provide excellent client care and develop additional business opportunities.
• Assist in developing client relationships to promote new commissions.
• Promote WSP’s capabilities and expertise in the region.

• Direct others in production of detailed and performance specification subject to review.
• Develop and line manage junior staff.
• Brief project team, ensure contracts/letters of intent are in place before work starts.
• Maintain project overview, team workload and resource requirements; collaborate with team leaders.
• Hold regular team meetings on resourcing, staff issues, H&S, quality, training, development and other relevant issues.

• Must obtain UK Security Check (SC).
• Experience working on MEP Building services projects with aviation background.

• BEng/BSc/MEng in applicable engineering discipline.
• CIBSE / IET / Engineering Council Chartership.
• Revit
  
  MEP training applied to the discipline.
