Intermediate Automation Systems Engineer

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join our team as an Intermediate Automation Systems Engineer, where you’ll design and program highly specialized control systems for automated machinery. Your expertise in PLCs and vision systems will shine!

We are looking for a skilled Intermediate Controls Integrator to help implement innovative solutions in automation technology. This position combines engineering design, programming, and customer service, ensuring projects meet high standards of quality and safety. You will also mentor junior engineers and recommend improvements in technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design control systems meeting customer specifications

• Validate control systems with assemblers and electricians

• Program and service machinery installations

• Provide technical training and guidance to customers

• Maintain documentation and red-lined electrical drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automation

• Familiarity with various programming languages including C++

• Effective communication and customer interaction skills

• Ability to travel and adapt to diverse work environments
