Your
Key Responsibilities
Directing roadway design staff, and managing multi-discipline project teams
Financial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change-order management, and client invoicing
Developing proposals, budgets and schedules, and ongoing business development and liaison with clients, both internal and external to Stantec
Collaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements
Supporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety program
Ensuring that the required functions of the project are implemented to meet standards
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Building a strong culture of quality design and teamwork
Other duties as assigned/required
Qualifications
You are a highly motivated, registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, and have more than 10 years of related and applied work experience. The ideal candidate will also have the following additional skills and qualifications:
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills are essential
Experienced in project management on MTO and/or Ontario municipal road projects
Experienced in SW Ontario public sector projects will set you apart from your peer group
Experienced in report and proposal writing
Experienced roadway design
Education and Experience
University or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in the field of road design and construction
Professional Engineer (P.Eng. or LEL) is required
Minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated experience with roadway project management responsibilities
Work Environment
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
