Position: 8-Month Mechanical Technologist Co-op Student
Join SBM’s London office as a Mechanical Technologist Co-op Student for 8 months. Contribute to innovative building systems design while developing your engineering expertise.

In this position, you will support the Mechanical Engineering Department by assisting with the design of mechanical systems for various sectors. Working alongside seasoned engineers, you’ll create drawings for permits and construction while also being involved in special project tasks aimed at enhancing design efficiency. Your hands-on experience will be enriched through occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create designs for mechanical systems and components

• Work collaboratively with the engineering team for project needs

• Assist in engineering analyses and design implementation

• Help resolve construction issues with the design group

• Engage in site visits as required to support projects

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an Architectural Technology Diploma program

• Eligible for co-op through a post-secondary school

• Design and drafting experience beneficial

• Proficient in MS Office and Autodesk software

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
