Experienced CAD Drafting Technologist

Join Callon Dietz as an experienced CAD Drafting Technologist in London, Ontario, and work on diverse engineering and legal survey projects. Utilize your skills to create precise plans while mentoring junior staff members.

This position focuses on producing pre-engineering and cadastral plans through effective data processing and collaboration. You'll coordinate with team members during project meetings to ensure quality deliverables and assist in the development of in-house CAD standards, showcasing your leadership and CAD expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and process field survey data

• Engage in project meetings with team members

• Mentor and train junior drafting personnel

• Support the evolution of CAD standards in-house

• Ensure efficient project delivery and accuracy

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Geomatics

• Minimum two years' relevant surveying experience

• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Station

• Previous field surveying experience preferred

• Knowledge of Open Roads or Trimble Business Center
