Position: Engineering and Planning Water Role
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Take on the Water Analyst position at the Region of Waterloo and work on crucial engineering and planning projects. Enhance water and wastewater operations through data analysis and coordination.

As a Water Analyst, you’ll implement and evaluate projects related to water distribution and wastewater systems while integrating modern tools such as GIS. Your expertise will help manage asset inventories and maintain efficient communication with area municipalities, ensuring optimal water resources management. This full-time role is pivotal in supporting community growth and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and model data for water distribution systems

• Improve records accuracy with GIS technology

• Coordinate consultant contracts for engineering services

• Prepare reports and presentations for Council

• Collaborate with various municipal departments

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering technology or a related field

• 4+ years of direct experience

• Advanced understanding of hydraulics and project management

• Proficient in Python and SQL programming

• Membership eligibility in OACETT
