Environmental Project Technologist Waterloo

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Support environmental projects in Waterloo, ON as a Project Technologist focusing on remediation and assessment. Collaborate deeply with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance and project success.

The Project Technologist role emphasizes hands-on technical work within a collaborative atmosphere. Candidates will engage in conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, assist with Excess Soil planning, and contribute to Record of Site Condition documentation.

Your role involves coordinating with project teams and other disciplines, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Phase I and II ESAs in compliance with CSA Standards

• Conduct reporting for Excess Soil planning in Ontario

• Assist with documentation for Record of Site Condition submissions

• Undertake various fieldwork including groundwater and soil sampling

• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal project teams

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Environmental Science or Engineering

• 0–2 years of environmental consulting experience

• Knowledge of Ontario Regulations and CSA Standards

• Strong technical writing abilities

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
