This position at WSP requires an experienced technician to supervise environmental remediations across various locations in Ontario. Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills are essential, alongside a diploma in environmental sciences. You will frequently travel for fieldwork, ensuring compliance with industry standards and managing on-site health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare health and safety plans for each site

• Supervise subcontractors during remedial operations

• Conduct soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring

• File and manage project-related field notes

• Report on site hazards and incidents accurately

Requirements:

• Minimum three years of experience in environmental remediation

• Diploma in environmental sciences or related field

• Strong attention to detail in field notes

• Valid driver’s license for travel

• Positive attitude and ability to work independently
