Position: Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for Rail
Location: southwestern ontario

Contribute to successful rail projects as a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Manage a team, handle procurement, and ensure financial accuracy while maintaining project timelines.
This role is pivotal in leading rail project initiatives, focusing on financial management and strategic procurement. You’ll work directly with clients to articulate financial expectations while supervising a team of engineers and foremen. Flexibility for travel is essential as you will oversee projects in the Waterloo region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and achieve profitability targets

• Coordinate subcontract procurement and administration

• Optimize client payments for maximum cash flow

• Ensure compliance with all financial agreements

• Facilitate training and knowledge-sharing with team members
Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering required

• Proven experience in the rail sector needed

• Chartered or working towards chartership

• Leadership experience with on-site staff

• Meticulous attention to detail is crucial
