Position: Piano Accompanist for Winds and Brass
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Laurier is seeking a skilled Musician to provide individual tuition and studio class support with a specialization in piano accompaniment for winds and brass. Applicants should possess a supportive nature and be prepared to engage in student recitals, masterclasses, and auditions. This position offers valuable experience coaching students one-on-one and fulfilling additional responsibilities as outlined in the Collective Agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and accompany students in individual settings and group classes

• Participate in student recitals and masterclasses throughout the year

• Assist with auditions and juries for incoming talent

• Facilitate special recitals and events as scheduled

• Complete additional duties as defined in the Collective Agreement

Requirements:

• MMus or BMus and/or Licentiate or Artist Diploma

• At least 3 years of experience at the PSE level

• Proven track record as a collaborative pianist

• Regional, national, or international performance profile

• Strong background in piano and winds/brass music
