What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain software products and supporting systems focused on thermal and fluids analysis, with applications including Ansys Thermal Desktop integration and enhancement.
  • Engage in moderate-to-complex development tasks, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software modules.
  • Understand and contribute to the code base, following the team's software development processes.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with managers, technical leads, and engineers to refine solutions and ensure seamless integration across teams.
  • Deliver high-quality, efficient code on schedule, with a focus on optimization and ease of understanding.
  • Stay current with best practices in software engineering and continuously expand knowledge in thermal and fluids modeling.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong expertise in C++ and C# with at least 2 years of hands-on experience.
  • Familiarity with Fortran and an understanding of legacy and modern programming paradigms.
  • Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and advanced debugging techniques.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex systems, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Nice To Have
  • Knowledge of Functional Mock-up Interface standard, .NET framework, and development experience with physical design or analysis tools.
  • Multi-physics experience including thermal and fluids modeling, computer graphics, and geometry processing.
  • Experience contributing to Engineering Simulation applications such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and fluids modeling.
