Location: strathroy
Drive the growth of Norbec's manufacturing site in Strathroy, Ontario as the Plant Maintenance and Engineering Manager. Oversee capital projects and engineering operations in a hands‑on leadership role. Join Norbec as the essential leader for Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering during the expansion of their new facility.
With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and over 10 years of experience, you will spearhead capital projects, equipment commissioning, and continuous improvement strategies.
Your role will be vital in maintaining effective operations and supporting the shop floor team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage technical direction for engineering and maintenance teams
- Review and prepare technical project documents
- Guide installation activities and validate project execution
- Lead capital project planning and budget management
- Foster cross‑functional collaboration for project success
- Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or similar
- Minimum 10 years in manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Kaizen
- Experience with asset management software
- Competence in Microsoft Office and PowerBI
