Project Manager

Avia NG is seeking a detail-oriented and hands‑on Project Manager to join our Buildings Team, supporting the planning, design, and construction of major airport capital projects, with focus on buildings.

This role works collaboratively across multiple offices and disciplines, balancing in‑person design and construction assignments with virtual coordination and project management activities.

You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from early planning and design through construction and close‑out. Your role will be to support our Buildings Team in the planning, coordination, and delivery of aviation building projects, working within active airport environments. This role is design‑forward and coordination‑focused, supporting the delivery of aviation facilities.

As a Project Manager, you will work alongside project managers, architects, engineers, and aviation specialists to support the design and coordination of airport buildings and aviation‑related facilities. These projects frequently involve unique operational constraints, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder considerations, requiring adaptability, strong technical judgment, and attention to detail.

You will support the development and coordination of design concepts, drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, quantity take‑offs, technical reports, and presentations, with a strong emphasis on maintaining design intent and constructability within an airport environment. This includes assisting with the coordination of multidisciplinary design teams and ensuring alignment between architectural, engineering, operational, and regulatory requirements.

You will help document requirements, track decisions, prepare meeting materials, and support the resolution of design and coordination issues that arise from working in live aviation environments.

You will assist with project coordination and delivery activities, including tracking schedules and deliverables, managing action items, supporting quality control reviews, and maintaining clear communication between design and construction teams. As projects move into implementation, you will also support construction‑phase services, including assistance with RFIs, change orders, payment certifications, and site reviews, helping ensure construction aligns with approved designs and aviation operational requirements.

This role is well suited to someone interested in aviation building design, who enjoys collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, and developing practical, buildable solutions within the realities of airport operations.
