Position: Electrical Engineer for Quantum Technology
Location: southwestern ontario

Join Quantum Core, Inc. as a full-time Electrical Engineer focused on developing next-generation single-photon detectors. Leverage your expertise in high-speed control electronics to impact quantum system advancements.
As part of Quantum Core, you will design, implement, and test innovative high-speed/RF and mixed-signal electronics for semiconductor metasurfaces. This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams in electronics and quantum technologies. Your contributions will enhance the performance of single-photon detectors and facilitate advanced laboratory experiments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate high-speed single-photon detector test boards

• Develop analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems for characterization

• Lead high-speed/RF circuit design and measurement setup

• Characterize custom PCBs and laboratory systems

• Create Python software for automated testing and signal processing
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

• 3+ years of experience in electronic system development

• Expertise in high-speed/RF circuit design

• Strong skills in mixed-signal circuit design

• Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes and analyzers
