Position: LS-DYNA Verification Engineer for Dynamic Testing
Location: southwestern ontario

Become a key player at ANSYS as a Verification Engineer specializing in LS-DYNA. This role involves developing test cases and validating solver features across diverse environments.
In this position, you'll write comprehensive test cases and build LS-DYNA models to ensure quality in structural dynamics and explicit dynamics functionalities. You will conduct functional tests on Linux and Windows while documenting the verification process for customer-facing materials. Your engineering expertise will guide testing strategies during development discussions with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write test cases for LS-DYNA models to verify new features

• Conduct performance tests across Linux, Windows, and cloud

• Investigate and report solver regressions and bug issues

• Document test models and validation results for manuals

• Collaborate in design reviews to shape testing strategy
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in engineering with 2+ years of experience

• Strong structural mechanics and finite element methods knowledge

• Experience in creating FEA models with LS-DYNA

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments

• Familiarity with LS-Pre Post is a plus
