Location: southwestern ontario
Lead the New Product Introduction for strapping machines at Samuel Automation Inc. Drive market readiness and regulatory compliance while collaborating with engineering and sales teams.
In this dynamic role, you will manage the NPI roadmap and define critical product requirements that translate customer needs into actionable designs at Samuel Packaging Systems Group (PSG). Your leadership will influence product execution and regulatory compliance, enhancing the overall innovation capacity of the automation solutions offered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain Product Requirements Documents for new offerings
• Oversee the NPI lifecycle from concept through production
• Act as Project Manager for key research and development projects
• Foster collaboration between engineering and business development teams
• Ensure adherence to industry-specific safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in relevant engineering field; 7+ years experience required
• Experience interfacing with customers for requirement definitions
• Strong skills in project management and risk analysis
• Willingness to travel to client sites for product requirements
• Knowledge of compliance and certification in automation sectors
