Position: Structural Engineer Needed in Ontario

Looking for a Structural Engineer at Compass Minerals in Goderich, Ontario. Use your skills in civil engineering and project management to support vital operations in our underground mining facility.
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the Engineering team. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering along with a Professional Engineer designation. Candidates must have five years of related engineering experience to assess and manage infrastructure effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct calculations and structural designs

• Evaluate existing structures for safety and modifications

• Prepare civil/structural designs per regulations

• Oversee project management functions

• Direct contractors and consultants to ensure compliance
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Necessary P. Eng designation

• 5 years of engineering experience required

• Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite, Solidworks

• Strong interpersonal and management skills
