Prototype Technologist Ontario

Join Trudell Medical International as a Prototype Technologist in London, Ontario. Lead prototype development and laboratory support in a collaborative environment focused on innovative medical device solutions.

As a key member of TMI's team, you will support product development with your expertise in prototype fabrication and laboratory testing. This role emphasizes creativity, problem-solving, and the effective use of 3D printing technologies. You'll work alongside a dedicated team in a state-of-the-art facility to ensure projects meet high standards of safety and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Prototype Lab for product fabrication

• Support 3D printing and equipment maintenance

• Collaborate with Product Development for prototyping needs

• Develop new methodologies for laboratory testing

• Commission equipment and provide necessary training

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in engineering or life sciences

• 3-5 years of experience in laboratory support

• Expertise in machine shop equipment and 3D printing

• Proficient in 3D CAD software, especially Solid Works

• Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
