Position: Radiation Physicist for Nuclear Design

The successful candidate will have a degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering, complemented by over eight years of relevant experience in radiation transport and shielding methodologies. Key responsibilities will include leading technical evaluations, preparing insightful reports, and presenting to various stakeholders. You will also need to demonstrate your ability to enhance and customize software applications for radiological analyses, ensuring stringent adherence to nuclear regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and document technical analyses involving radiation transport

• Produce comprehensive reports of technical findings

• Present results to both internal teams and external clients

• Collate relevant data from past analyses for reviews

• Modify and develop applications to solve new technical challenges

Requirements:

• Master’s or advanced degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering

• 8+ years’ experience in radiation transport and activity analyses

• Familiarity with key codes like MCNP, SCALE, or similar

• Programming capability in languages such as Python or C++

• Experience in nuclear operations and decommissioning
