Position: Expert Steel Detailer with Project Management
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Elevate structural steel detailing as an Expert Steel Detailer / Project Manager. Drive projects from inception through fabrication with a focus on communication and organizational excellence.

This position requires a seasoned professional with 7–10 years of experience in structural steel detailing. Manage crucial project stages, ensuring adherence to engineering standards while collaborating closely with architects and contractors.

Your role includes mentoring junior detailers and managing various project tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage detailing projects from kickoff to completion

• Oversee production of accurate shop drawings

• Review and approve all project-related documentation

• Develop and maintain shipping schedules and tracking

• Identify potential issues prior to fabrication

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7–10 years in structural steel detailing

• Proficient in Tekla Structures and Autodesk Advance Steel

• Extensive experience in erection processes and connection detailing

• Strong project management and coordination skills

• Ability to handle multiple deadlines effectively
