AtkinsRéalis seeks a Senior Engineer specializing in Procurement for Nuclear Systems in Ontario. Use your expertise to deliver critical project engineering and procurement support.
We are looking for candidates with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a wealth of experience (10-15 years) in engineering, particularly related to nuclear and conventional power components. You will be responsible for developing specifications, analyzing vendor information, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure plant operation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop bill of materials and technical specifications
• Evaluate vendor documentation for procurement decisions
• Support project teams during site visits and walkdowns
• Interface with stakeholders to optimize engineering processes
• Participate in technical tender evaluations
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Extensive experience in nuclear procurement engineering
• Knowledge of CSA and ASME codes preferred
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to manage engineering projects
