Become an essential part of Wave Ryde Instruments' mission as a skilled Electro-Optical Assembler in Waterloo, Canada. In this role, you'll assemble and test advanced photonics systems for quantum sensors while thriving in a collaborative environment.

Wave Ryde Instruments is looking for an experienced Electro-Optical Assembler to enhance our team. You will integrate lasers, perform fiber splicing, and test laser systems for 5G applications. A strong focus on precision and quality is paramount, with attention to optics handling and electro-optic device integration being essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate and test lasers and photodiode detectors

• Perform fiber splicing and coupling to optical devices

• Handle adhesive bonding of fiber-optic components

• Conduct optical power measurements and alignment verification

• Document test results and maintain build records

Requirements:

• Degree in Optics, Photonics, or Electrical Engineering

• Attention to detail for precision tasks

• Ability to follow technical drawings

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• 1-3 years of assembly experience preferred
