Position: Mechanical Designer for Infrastructure Projects
Location: Strathroy

Be a key player at Wolfe Heavy Equipment as a Mechanical Designer. Based in Strathroy, Ontario, you'll focus on designing equipment for critical infrastructure and renewable energy applications.

This on-site role involves researching and prototyping new designs while collaborating with diverse teams on various engineering projects. Your proficiency in Solid Works and engineering simulations will be crucial as you deliver high-quality solutions. You'll also prepare project documentation and communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize heavy equipment systems using engineering analysis tools

• Create precise 3D models and technical drawings in Solid Works

• Perform calculations for new designs and enhance existing ones

• Work with teams from concept through to production

• Keep accurate project documentation and design records

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Solid Works proficiency and experience with CAD software

• Familiarity with FEA and CFD tools

• Understanding of welding and hydraulic systems

• Strong communication and organizational skills
