Join the Advanced Engineering team at Masco Canada as a Mechatronics Engineer in St. Thomas, ON. Drive innovation in plumbing products focusing on electronics and embedded software.
In this on-site role, you'll develop and enhance products by working collaboratively with our Innovation team. You will support mechanical functions and leverage your expertise in developing sensors and electromechanical systems. This position requires a self-starter mentality, strong project management skills, and the ability to think creatively to solve design issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and analyze electronic systems for plumbing products
• Design and program IR/capacitance sensors
• Create detailed design specifications and project scopes
• Test and evaluate product concepts for feasibility
• Prepare technical reports on product testing results
Requirements:
• 5+ years in mechanical/electronic systems development
• Graduate degree in relevant engineering field
• Proficient in 3D CAD and project management tools
• Experience with FMEA and compliance testing
• Knowledge of electronic circuit design tools
