Join Mitchell Plastics' award-winning team and utilize your expertise in automation design. You will create comprehensive CAD designs, generate design drawings, and assist with project quoting and start-up processes. This position also entails collaboration with junior designers and involvement in continuous improvement activities to enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D CAD design concepts per customer specifications

• Generate design drawings and Bill of Materials

• Collaborate with engineers and vendors on project goals

• Assist in the commissioning of automation systems

• Report and rectify any unsafe conditions immediately

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of automation design experience

• Trade certification or college diploma in Automation Design

• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS mechanical design software

• Knowledge of PLC-based machine logic and safety standards

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team
