Principal Electrical Engineer in Water Management

Exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer at GHD, specializing in water and wastewater treatment. Work in a hybrid office model while leading pivotal engineering projects.
As a Principal Electrical Engineer at GHD's Waterloo and GTA offices, you will focus on electrical aspects for innovative projects in the municipal and industrial sectors. You will deliver technical leadership, oversee project execution, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while mentoring junior engineers.

Your role is key to managing client relationships and enhancing business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams through design and execution phases

• Develop electrical design standards and oversee quality control

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external vendors

• Conduct workshops and present technical solutions to clients

• Respond to RFIs and evaluate project reports
Requirements:

• B.A.Sc. in Electrical Engineering

• P.E. of Ontario credential

• 15+ years with MV/LV electrical systems

• Expertise in Canadian electrical codes and standards

• Familiarity with municipal project management
