Location: southwestern ontario
Lead the Eng Ops Applications team at Stack Adapt as an Engineering Manager. Focus on guiding engineers, ensuring operational excellence, and managing critical production systems.
In this leadership role, your expertise will empower a team of engineers to deliver reliable outcomes. You will oversee planning and system reliability while enhancing incident response practices. Your technical insights will guide trade-offs and ensure high standards for operational documentation are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, coach, and support a team of engineers
• Own planning, clarifying priorities and commitments
• Ensure system reliability and incident response effectiveness
• Review designs and facilitate technical oversight
• Maintain operational documentation and standards
Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing engineers effectively
• Familiarity with Infrastructure, Dev Ops, or Site Reliability Engineering
• Experience with AWS production systems
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code using Terraform
