Join Google’s XR team as a Hardware System Integration Developer in Waterloo, ON. This role focuses on hardware design and integration for cutting-edge Augmented Reality devices.
As a key developer, you will lead the architecture and execution of hardware design for Google's innovative AR glasses. Required skills include experience in board design, signal integrity, and debugging complex hardware issues. The position also requires interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure product delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather system requirements and define architecture for AR products

• Execute hardware design from concept to high-volume production

• Lead debugging and root cause analysis of hardware issues

• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams for integration

• Partner with software developers for SoC and microcontroller integration
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 4 years of experience in consumer electronics or 3 years with an advanced degree

• Proficiency with schematics capture tools and layout review

• Experience with wireless systems and communication protocols

• Knowledge of Analog/Digital systems and debugging techniques
