Become part of Arcadis as a Transportation Design Engineer focusing on roadway projects in the Greater Toronto Area. Utilize your engineering expertise to create effective design solutions.
In this intermediate-level role, you will deliver detailed designs for various transportation projects, including municipal roads and active transportation facilities. Your responsibilities include developing engineering drawings with tools like Micro Station, Open Roads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, ensuring adherence to high standards and compliance with regulations. Collaboration with other engineering disciplines will be crucial for project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design municipal roads, highways, and transit corridors
• Prepare detailed construction drawings and documents
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design aspects including drainage
• Mentor junior engineers and support their tasks
• Ensure designs comply with TAC and MTO standards
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Transportation Engineering
• P.Eng. certification or in progress
• Minimum 4-6 years in transportation design
• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Strong analytical and communication abilities
