Skeena Gold + Silver seeks a Fixed Plant Reliability Engineer for the Eskay Creek mine revitalization project. This role emphasizes reliability engineering, maintenance readiness, and collaboration with diverse teams focused on safe operations.
As part of a high-performing team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing maintenance strategies that ensure optimal mill availability. Your responsibilities will include conducting RAM studies, driving improvements in reliability processes, and fostering collaboration across engineering and operations teams to mitigate risks effectively. The position is site-based, requiring adaptability to dynamic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute and lead RAM studies before mill commissioning
• Implement planned maintenance and asset hierarchies
• Identify and manage critical spare parts
• Investigate and resolve equipment failures systematically
• Establish a monitoring program for key equipment
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Eligible for P.Eng. registration in British Columbia
• Familiarity with reliability engineering tools and methods
• Ability to align cross-functional teams
• Strong focus on safety and responsible engineering practice
