ContextIn order to strengthen the rapid development of LGM both in Toronto and Montreal we are looking for a Senior Technical Writer.
Your responsibilities:Under the supervision of the TECHPUB/ILS Group Manager, your mission will be to produce different types of manuals (maintenance, operation, installation…) and be the resource person for the Techpub team in Thunder bay.
You will be based in our client facility in Thunder bay.
Your main tasks include:- Producing various types of technical publication (Maintenance manual, Operation Manuals,…)
- Participate in the validation process of technical writings content;
- Be responsible of the information exchange between the teams, maintaining a common look and feel to all documentation produced;
- Coordination
- Participate in technical meetings with the members of the project;
- Mentoring junior technical writers;
- Building a relationship of trust and partnership with the client while promoting LGM's expertise;
- Contributing to the improvement of practices and tools.
- Degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronic or mechatronic, industrial engineering);
- Minimum 10 years experience in Technical Publication
- Knowledge of S1000D
- Experience in Aerospace sector of railway
- Previous experience in project management.
