Build custom robotic automation systems through hands-on programming, integration, and commissioning at BOS Innovations in London, Ontario. This is a full-time role.
As an Automation Systems Programmer, you will create reliable robotic solutions for manufacturing applications including handling, assembly, dispensing, and welding. Your focus includes motion control, path optimization, robot safety, and integration with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems. FANUC experience is preferred, while other industrial platforms are valued.
Key Responsibilities:- Configure and validate robot safety zones, interlocks, and safety systems
- Create robot sequences and tool configurations for required cycle times
- Develop simulations with reach studies and cycle-time validation
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams
- Document programs, quality checklists, and FAT/SAT records
- Three-plus years of direct industrial robot programming experience
- Experience commissioning robots in automation or manufacturing environments
- Experience integrating PLCs, sensors, vision, and industrial equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Collaborative communication across engineering and project teams
