This is a hands‑on accounting role focused on maintaining accurate books, running an efficient month‑end close, and supporting management reporting as we grow.

You will be an individual contributor reporting directly to the COO, working closely with leadership and external advisors to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the details, improving systems and contributing in a fast‑moving environment.

• Accounting & Close
  • Maintain the general ledger and financial systems with precision
  • Lead month‑end close activities and support year‑end close
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers
• Reporting & Compliance
  • Support tax and regulatory compliance in coordination with external advisors
  • Prepare internal financial statements (ASPE) and supporting schedules
  • Support audit preparation and documentation
• Financial Support & Analysis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support leadership decisions
• Process Improvement
  • Document and improve accounting workflows
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes

• Quick Books Online
• Microsoft 365
• Hub Spot
• Jira / Confluence
• In House License Server

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong month‑end close experience
• Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills
• High attention to detail and strong process orientation
• Experience in SaaS, hardware, or manufacturing environments (nice to have)
• Exposure to SR&ED / IRAP / other government and non‑dilutive funding (nice to have)
