About The Role

As Assistant Team Leader your role will be to cover shifts, support with admin work and work alongside our already dedicated team. You will be required to cover management tasks as well as rotas and updating person centred plans.

This service is a residential service supporting up to 12 individuals with mental health needs, dementia, and learning disabilities. The service is committed to promoting independence, choice, and respect, ensuring that each person is empowered to live as fully and autonomously as possible. We are proud to have recently improved our rating from Requires Improvement to Good following our inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our team in delivering high-quality, person‑centred care. We actively assist the people we support to engage with their local community, attend appointments and participate in activities of their choice. Our approach is centred on individual preferences, strengths and goals, ensuring tailored support that meets each person’s unique needs. The service maintains strong governance and compliance processes, with managers and staff working collaboratively to meet all regulatory and quality standards.

Through continuous improvement and a commitment to best practice, we strive to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all residents.

  • Full time 39 hours per week
  • 12 hours 4 days
  • 10 hours 3 day
  • Sleep ins required

About You

This role is ideal for people committed to making a positive difference in individuals’ lives, including experienced support workers, graduates and those seeking opportunity to step up in their social care career. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team leader with motivating a staff team to work with a positive and proactive culture to identify and support the needs of each of the people we support and provide genuine person‑centred support.
