Counsellor – Rimmer House

COUNSELLOR 2 – Cameron House
TEMPORARY, FULL TIME – 72 hours bi-weekly

This position is expected to begin on or about Monday, March 9, 2026 and is expected to end on or about July 1, 2026 with the possibility of an extension or early ending.

Required Qualifications:

• Post‑secondary education in social services from a recognized Ontario College.
• Experience working in the mental health or developmental services field with case management responsibility.
• A mature and conscientious individual who is creative, flexible and able to lead a team in developing and implementing personal plans in accordance with the individual’s needs and desires as well as maximizing the integration of residents into the community.
• Proven ability to coordinate the administration of several simultaneous projects including residential services, community relations and special services for people with disabilities (developmental, behavioural, psychiatric, physical and/or medical) would be an asset.
• Tact, diplomacy and initiative suitable to deal with management, co‑workers, families and professionals is essential to ensure continuity and effective teamwork.

Hourly Rate: per CUPE Collective Agreement (Union position)
