Medical Office Assistant Summer Student

The Medical Office Assistant Summer Student will provide clerical and clinical support to the staff at the Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre.

Accountability

The Medical Office Assistant Summer Student reports to the Primary Care Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school grade 11 education.
• Desire to work in healthcare.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Fast learner using office equipment.
• Willingness to complete repetitive tasks.
• Experience using MS File Explorer, Excel, and Word is an asset.

Duties

• Scan, file and organize electronic documents.
• Enter information into the electronic medical record.

The Grand Bend Area Community Health Centre (GBACHC) is a non-profit, community-governed organization that provides comprehensive primary health care and interprofessional health services.

The Grand Bend Area Health Service Foundation (GBAHSF) is a charitable organization that undertakes fundraising for the GBACHC. It receives and distributes funds necessary to assist with capital requirements.
