Job Description
We are a team of 35+ User Experience Research professionals at Oracle Net Suite, shaping the core elements of the Net Suite product. We are part of a larger community of 150+ Experience Designers, Content and UI Designers, Technical Writers, and other creative professionals across Oracle Net Suite. Collaborating closely with Net Suite leadership under Evan Goldberg, we contribute to Oracle’s Redwood design system.

Your RoleAs a Principal UX Researcher, you’ll lead research strategy and methodologies, ensuring research is fully integrated into product development. You’ll deliver insights that support the product vision and strategy for foundational Net Suite products—including onboarding, navigation, Ask Oracle, search, data management, and design systems—to provide a seamless, cohesive user experience.
You’ll influence product strategy, inform product iteration, and measure user experiences to drive investment decisions. At the intersection of user needs, business priorities, and technology, you’ll uncover key insights about enterprise system users, guiding how we build for them. You’ll set research vision, mature our practice, and equip cross‑functional partners for insight‑led decisions. You will bring structure to complexity and align product and design teams around strategic goals, moving comfortably between big‑picture thinking and connecting the dots across work streams.
QualificationsAnd Skills
- 8+ years in user research, ideally in the enterprise domain; experience with foundational features (onboarding, navigation, search, design systems) is a plus.
- Skilled in planning and executing research and usability activities—interviews, surveys, usability evaluations, etc.
- Experience with research on AI experiences and using AI as a research tool.
- Degree in Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- Comfortable in ambiguous environments, proactively determining necessary research.
- Strong independence, ownership, and initiative in managing projects and priorities.
- Passion for elevating research craft, mentoring, and fostering an effective research culture.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English for business and customer research.
