SAP IS Utilities; IS U Cutover Lead

Akkodis is seeking an experienced SAP IS‑Utilities Cutover Lead to support a major SAP implementation initiative. The consultant will lead end‑to‑end cutover planning, stakeholder coordination, execution oversight, and risk management activities. This role requires strong SAP implementation expertise, structured project leadership, and the ability to guide teams through complex deployment cycles.
Scope of ServicesThe consultant will provide services that may include, but are not limited to:
- Developing, managing, and validating detailed cutover plans for SAP implementations.
- Coordinating all cutover activities across business, technical, and operational teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to align cutover strategy with organizational readiness.
- Monitoring risks, issues, dependencies, and resource needs throughout the cutover lifecycle.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and SAP best practices.
- Providing regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior leadership.
- Troubleshooting challenges arising during cutover execution and ensuring timely resolution.
- Documenting lessons learned and contributing to continuous improvement for future deployments.
- Comprehensive cutover plan and supporting documentation.
- Cutover readiness assessments and stakeholder alignment reports.
- Risk logs, issue logs, and mitigation strategies.
- Daily and weekly cutover execution reports and dashboards.
- Final cutover completion summary and lessons‑learned package.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP project management or SAP implementation leadership.
- Strong understanding of SAP ERP, IS‑U modules, and module integration points.
- Expertise in cutover management, project planning, change management, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
