Role SummaryAs a Scrum Master, you will lead Product, Platform, and Project teams to deliver high-quality solutions while maximizing productivity. You will act as a coach and facilitator, fostering an environment of creativity, self-improvement, and empowerment. Your mission is to remove impediments and ensure Agile methodologies are followed to achieve relentless improvement and high-performing team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Coaching (30%): Guide the organization on Scrum, Kanban, and Agile practices. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement to ensure full team engagement.
- Work Support & Delivery (30%): Support Product Owners in prioritization and release timing. Ensure initiatives are delivered within budget, scope, and timeline while making squad progress visible to all stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Shielding (15%): Foster cross-training and mutual support within the squad. Protect the team from external interference to maintain peak productivity.
- Strategic Problem Solving (15%): Navigate the squad through technical and business roadblocks. Cultivate a trusting environment where issues can be raised and solved without fear of consequences.
- Metrics & Reporting (10%): Maintain visual management tools (Kanban boards, OKRs) and track key performance metrics to ensure alignment across all squads.
- Education: College Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or working in a dedicated Agile environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience with in the Financial Services industry is considered a strong asset.

Background in software development, business systems analysis, or project management. - Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) designation is required (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire).
