Senior Information Risk Management Consultant

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Located in Toronto or Waterloo, ON, you will act as a liaison in driving security initiatives and ensuring compliance with information security standards. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into new projects and providing risk management strategies that impact the broader organization positively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with business units to implement security practices

• Assess risks for AI and cloud-based projects

• Develop risk management and mitigation strategies

• Track progress of risk issues and corrective actions

• Provide training and advisory services on security best practices

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in Information Risk Management

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Preferred professional designations (CISSP, CISM)

• Proven relationship management abilities

• Familiarity with ISO
27001 and NIST frameworks
