Definity's Claims team is looking for an ambitious Co-op Student to help streamline historical claims data access. Your main tasks will involve collaborating with engineers to design a data layer and developing a user interface that enhances data usability. This comprehensive role is designed for students eager to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on data requirements with engineers and SMEs
• Design and implement a semantic data layer in GCP
• Create a user interface in Excel for claims inquiries
• Document data aggregation processes thoroughly
• Participate in user acceptance testing to validate solutions
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Data Science or related program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially advanced functions
• Background in data manipulation, SQL or Python preferred
• Understanding of cloud platforms like Google Cloud
• Strong communication and documentation skills
