Why Join Us

Get ready to own your career as an IT Support Coordinator at Trouw Nutrition, a Nutreco company. As global leaders in animal nutrition and aquafeed, we share the purpose of Feeding the Future, making a positive global impact for generations to come. Join us in this impactful role and help deliver production of feed in a sustainable way to a growing population.

Own your direction, own your development and own your path.

What You’ll Do

You’ll own end‑to‑end technical operations at one of Nutreco Canada’s largest manufacturing sites—taking accountability for reliable, secure day‑to‑day application and infrastructure support while actively creating better ways of working through hands‑on delivery of local, regional, and (where applicable) national IT projects. You’ll plan and execute system and software implementations and deployments (including ERP/MES‑related applications and integration platforms), coordinate vendors and internal IT stakeholders, manage assets and procurement, and lead troubleshooting and change requests so plant teams can run safely and efficiently.

In doing so, you turn business needs into practical solutions, act with pace and initiative, and continuously improve the technology foundation that enables our operations to perform and scale—living Nutreco’s “Own it” mindset by taking ownership and “create” by building durable improvements that make a measurable impact.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re a hands‑on, customer‑focused IT professional who owns outcomes—someone who takes accountability for reliable day‑to‑day support at a busy manufacturing site and follows through until issues are resolved and users are confident in IT. You bring 2–3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and application support (ideally in a manufacturing environment), plus the ability to manage technical projects end‑to‑end, coordinate vendors and stakeholders, and improve how systems and services run.

You’re comfortable working across common enterprise technologies (e.g., Windows/Server, SQL, VMware, Microsoft 365 and related tools) and are energized by creating practical solutions, strengthening support structures, and continuously improving the employee experience through clear communication, strong organization, and collaborative teamwork.

You’ll also Need
  • IT operations & support (2–3+ years):
Proven experience providing hands‑on infrastructure and application support, including local and remote user support in a business‑critical environment.
  • Technical breadth across core platforms:
Working knowledge of Windows/Server, SQL Server, VMware, Windows OS, Microsoft 365 (and tools like LANDesk), plus network/wireless fundamentals and systems security troubleshooting.
  • Enterprise / manufacturing systems exposure:
Experience supporting or working alongside business‑critical platforms (e.g., ERP, MES; LIMS/CRM as assets), ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Project delivery & vendor/stakeholder coordination:
Ability to analyze requirements, plan implementations, execute deployments, manage change requests, and coordinate service providers and IT stakeholders through to stable operations.
  • Strong “Own it” competencies:
Client‑focused problem solving, high accountability, strong organization and analytical skills, clear written/verbal communication, and a collaborative, team‑first approach.
Benefits
  • Robust pension plan with employer matching that begins on Day 1.
  • Competitive health benefits—Medical/Dental/Vision/HSA, that start on Day 1.
  • Short‑term/Long‑term Disability and Mental Health spending allowance.
  • Maternal top‑up and Tuition Reimbursement.
  • 15 vacation days to start (tiered).
