Position: Cybersecurity Lead for PowerCo
Location: St. Thomas

Join Power Co Canada as an Information Security Officer, shaping the security landscape in St. Thomas. This role prioritizes the intersection of cybersecurity and Operations Technology in a manufacturing environment.

As the ISO at Power Co, you will design and implement security strategies that meet both corporate and regulatory standards. Your responsibilities include leading local security initiatives, conducting risk management processes, and overseeing incident responses. This position ensures that security measures support effective manufacturing practices, contributing to the overarching vision of sustainable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design local information security management systems aligned with corporate standards

• Manage risk assessments and maintain a regional risk register

• Implement security controls for industrial environments and applications

• Facilitate vendor assessments to guarantee third-party security

• Ensure effective incident response to security events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or relevant field

• Minimum 5 years in information security or risk management

• Familiar with OT security concepts and industrial environments

• Proven experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on production continuity
