Data Technician - Infrastructure Management

Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join Stantec’s Infrastructure Management team as a Data Technician in Waterloo, ON. This full-time position prioritizes quality control in pavement data and effective data collection.

At Stantec, you will be part of a skilled group focusing on integrated infrastructure solutions. As a Data Technician, you will manage and verify field data quality, enabling efficient processing of pavement conditions.

Your role includes collaboration with project managers and coordinating data packages to enhance community infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage field and spatial data

• Conduct daily quality checks on pavement data

• Plan routes for field surveys effectively

• Process diverse pavement condition data thoroughly

• Collaborate with the team on data package assembly

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering, GIS, or database management

• At least 1 year of relevant technical experience

• Familiarity with MS Access and Arc Map essential

• Knowledge of programming and FME software is a plus

• Must display strong attention to detail and analytical skills
