Position: Equitable Group Insurance Data Director
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Drive impactful data insights at Equitable in the Director role for Group Insurance, focusing on analytics, data governance, and team development in a hybrid setting.

This role is designed for a data analytics leader with at least a decade of experience. You’ll develop data strategies, implement reporting solutions, and enhance predictive analytics capabilities while leading a dedicated team. Engage with different stakeholders to support effective decision-making processes and improve overall data practices within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee development and execution of data strategy

• Provide reporting and analytics solutions using enterprise tools

• Enhance predictive analytics in collaboration with teams

• Ensure robust data governance and quality measures

• Lead and nurture a high-performance analytics team

Requirements:

• 10+ years in data analytics or related fields

• Proficiency in BI tools, SQL, and data modeling

• Understanding of data governance frameworks

• Proven leadership skills in analytics projects

• Knowledge of programming languages (Python) is beneficial
