Reporting to the Manager, Project Delivery, this role leads large, high-risk infrastructure projects with significant business impact. The Senior Project Manager ensures projects are clearly defined, planned, and delivered, while managing scope, cost, schedule, and risk. They drive collaboration across business and technology teams and promote best practices. This role leads the implementation of solutions that may require modification of business processes, systems, and/or products, and can require significant departures from traditional approaches.
Responsibilities- Lead and execute infrastructure-related projects, aligned with business and technology goals, managed according to established plans, project standards and controls
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, partnering in the development of strategic and operational plans
- Ensure the expected outcomes of the project are effectively communicated and considered in optimizing the pursuit of its intended benefit and value
- Oversee the management of resources across multiple projects or initiatives
- Resolve scope, cost, schedule, resource, quality and risk issues within a shared governance structure
- Develop and manage an effective delivery network across project managers and other leaders, including providing feedback to people leaders on performance and development
- 5–10 years managing large infrastructure-related projects
- Experience using various project management frameworks, including Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile, and applying them in high-complexity projects
- Experience in senior stakeholder relationship management across diverse areas with converging interests, including the ability to informally lead and influence those stakeholders in a complex environment
- Business, technical and financial acumen with the ability to apply it to the project and business landscape
- Understanding of control standards, audit practices, and compliance
- University or College education in Project Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is considered an asset
- Clarity competency preferred
The base salary for this position is between $70,000 - $110,000 annually
