As Avia NG grows, so do our systems and infrastructure needs. Our internal IT Committee sets the strategic direction for technology at the company—but we need someone on the ground to make it happen. We’re hiring a permanent, full‑time IT Coordinator to execute committee decisions and help drive improvements to our technology, cybersecurity, and digital processes across all departments.
Job Summary:IT Coordinator
The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing technology systems, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity protocols, and internal processes across the organization. This role will ensure that the decisions of the IT Committee are actioned effectively and in alignment with our IT Governance Framework and Charter.
You will coordinate IT‑related projects, provide support to staff on technology‑related matters, liaise with vendors, and document system improvements. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mix of technical and hands‑on skills who enjoys making systems run better.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and support IT Committee decisions in accordance with the IT Governance Framework and Charter.
- Coordinate and manage IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and track progress, risks, budgets, and compliance.
- Support research and evaluation of technology solutions (hardware, software, systems).
- Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders to support procurement, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with the management of IT equipment including network infrastructure and end‑user assets.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and systems.
- Manage and maintain inventory logs and lifecycle tracking for IT hardware, software, and licenses.
- Procure IT assets and software licenses.
- Manage IT user accounts, authentication and device management.
- Ensure data backups are completed and test recovery infrastructure.
- Assist with documentation and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Help coordinate internal change management and communications related to technology rollouts.
- Support cybersecurity measures, incident response processes, and system access/security protocols.
- Provide internal support and guidance on use of business applications, collaboration tools, and systems.
The ideal candidate is a problem‑solver with strong coordination and communication skills, who can translate strategic direction into action. A background in IT coordination, systems administration, or project support is ideal—but more important is your ability to own projects and see them through.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT coordination, systems support, or technical project delivery.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
