Manulife Data Engineering Specialist

Location: Southwestern Ontario

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design and operationalize data pipelines using Azure technologies. Working closely with a talented team, including data architects and scientists, you will ensure that our data remains high-quality and compliant with governance standards. This position also offers the chance to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory

• Design and oversee data architecture components

• Integrate and verify data quality from various sources

• Implement data governance processes for security

• Collaborate to identify and develop data solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Data Engineer

• Expertise in Azure Data Factory and Databricks

• Understanding of data governance and compliance

• Knowledge of cloud services and data architecture

• Experience in continuous integration and Dev Ops
